Before using Compete Consulting Group (CCG), CorVel spent an average of $20,000 a week on its overnight shipping, approximately $1,040,000 in annual expenditures. Throughout its 150+ locations nationwide, CorVel used UPS, FedEx and DHL for its domestic and international shipments, with each individual office choosing which carrier it would use. CorVel needed CCG’s assistance not only with rate savings, but also to consolidate its 150+ locations to one national shipping carrier.

CCG is saving CorVel 30%, in excess of $310,000 a year on its overnight shipping. With CCG, CorVel spends an average of $14,000 a week, approximately $730,000 annually. CCG set up a national account in which all locations were linked to the same discounts and facilitated the implementation process throughout CorVel’s 120+ locations to the shipping carrier of their choice: FedEx.
